The restructuring of SADC is a proactive process of redefining a regional agenda that is in sync with member states’ aspirations, and not just an exercise aimed at centralizing management of the 13-member organization.

Berenger visits SADC House, calls for concrete programmes
The Chairperson of SADC and Prime Minister of Mauritius, Paul Berenger, has called for implementation of the numerous protocols already ratified, and speedy action to cap the restructuring of the Secretariat.
