Sectoral Policy, regulatory and planning frameworks related to watershed management should be harmonized and consolidated
Preventative management is more cost-effective than rehabilitation or remediation
Environmental sustainability criteria should be incoporated into strengthened regulatory frameworks
Mobilise limited expertise and capacity in the region through establishment and facilitation of effective knowledge-sharing networks
