| Publications Main Activities and Products The SOE Zambezi creates awareness through the publication and distribution of a "family of products" on various issues in the Zambezi river basin. They include factsheets, posters, newsletters and reports on the state of the environment. National Collaborating Centres (NCCs) have been identified in each of the eight riparian states. The NCCs have the opportunity to strengthen capacity for generating information relevant to their own programmes, while participating in basin-wide implementation and the distribution of materials produced. State of the Environment Zambezi Basin 2000 The State of the Environment Zambezi Basin 2000 marks the first time that an assessment of a single ecosystem has been undertaken and reported upon in southern Africa. A comprehensive report and summary are available in both English and Portuguese. CEP Factsheets The SOE Zambezi project produces factsheets about topical issues in the Zambezi basin. Posters 10 educational posters highlighting the main issues in the Zambezi basin have been produced. The Zambezi Newsletter The print and electronic newsletter provides a unique forum for discussing and highlighting topical issues about the Zambezi basin. Other products
